Dear MyFonts:
Hi,
THIS IS AMAZING!!! Thank you guys, and girls off course:)
Best regards from Bosnia and Herzegovina and
Continue with this good work!

Dear MyFonts:
hi, i just logged back in after last night. my album i created is gone.
Dear MyFonts:
One of our designers wants to order one of your fonts. Do you except any form of payment other than credit card? We are a business and we are trying to get away from that due to security reasons and, credit cards have TOO MANY FEES. Thanks!
Dear MyFonts:
new site looks great and content is perfection! , Well, done!!! Very user friendly,
MYSTO
Dear MyFonts:
Hi, I have just bought Griffith Gothic and have started to typeset a recipe book only to discover there are no fractions in the glyphs, do you know if there is an expert version or a work round? (other than super scripting).
Many thanks David
Dear MyFonts:
Thank you so much for your help in identifying the font at Pritchard. You have done a great service for my friends business and both she and I are very grateful.
We wish you much success with your business as well and will direct anyone we know if the graphic arts business to use your services and buy from you.
You are truly great and we are truly grateful.
Dear MyFonts:
MyFonts new beta site is great. Though I would like to have the Find Fonts->"Surprise me" more easily available. It's one click too much if you don't like the font that you got and want to shuffle again.
Dear MyFonts:
This site is much easier to use! I'm not a type expert but I'd love to learn more and this site is a great place to learn and browse.
thanks!
Dear MyFonts:
Love this site, good job
Dear MyFonts:
Can someone make a font that changes lower case to upper and upper case to lower? So often I type a letter and realize (because i don't look at the screen when I type, I look at the keyboard) that I have written it in caps! To me this seems like a real moneymaker idea but I haven't got the skills to do it. Anybody???
Dear MyFonts:
Kind of a bug, not sure if there's anything you can do about it: In safari in the top sites view, the website preview of the main MyFonts page will always display something different than what loads after you click to view the page. It would be great if there were a way to fix that!
Dear MyFonts:
I like the new site
Dear MyFonts:
I am hoping there is an option to add the entire font library (example: Typodemic) to ahopping cart in one click, it will save more time then adding the font individually to the shopping cart. Also, it would be neat if font fountry is able to update their library collection by just uploading the updated library pack and customers who purchased the library pack at any time will be notified by email and they can simply log into their account and download the updated library...
Dear MyFonts:
New site looks good! Clean and easy to use.
Dear MyFonts:
I do have a gripe. I save your e-mails to get inspiration at a later date but when I revisit them the information has disappeared. You obviously don't keep an archive of your newsletters, do you?
MyFonts says:

Dear MyFonts:
I was recently looking for a font for a particular word and looked at a couple of websites. I returned to your new site and found searching very easy, so easy that I purchased four fonts. I like the new website. Transaction went perfectly. I like the blue and the simplicity. I like the gallery.
Dear MyFonts:
Had to use old site to print receipt. On Beta site it came up as a blank page (grey/brown), and I lost my scroll bars (using Safari on 10.4). Actually, I didn't realize I was on the beta site until I had this trouble.
Found the font display on the Beta home page helpful! It actually featured the the type of font I was looking for-- great luck, since it changes all the time.
Dear MyFonts:
I can't find the help FAQs in the new site... :-(
Dear MyFonts:
Is it possible to allow us to download free fonts without going through the shopping cart?
Dear MyFonts:
awesome new site
when I sign up though it takes me to this page
http://new.myfonts.com/widgets/popup_login/popup_login.php?success=1
which just says success and that's it
Dear MyFonts:
Love the new site, like its simplicity - go for it!
Dear MyFonts:
you probably already know about this bug.. but anyway.
when you're browsing fonts in gallery view, then switch to the whatthefont forum it's still in gallery mode and you can't view any posts. Only way to fix it was to go back to the font browser and switch back to list.
using Firefox 3.5.5 (mac osx snow leopard)
Dear MyFonts:
Ditch the old site we are type, graphic , motion or web designers.. not old grannys :)
Dear MyFonts:
Gill Sans (http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/adobe/gill-sans/) and Humanist 521 (http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/tilde/humanst-521/) show the exact same characters but I think there's a mix-up.
Dear MyFonts:
There's a problem with Vietnamese character rendering. If you search "Vietnamese" you'll find lots of fonts which contain Vietnamese sets. If you look at the glyph table, you can see the correct glyphs are present. But of you change the sample text to something like ứầốấế, either the glyphs don't show up or there's an attempt to do some kind of combining diacriticals thing. Ideally the rasterizer should either display the corresponding glyphs or the .notdef.
Dear MyFonts:
The process for downloading free fonts is extraordinarily cumbersome. How about a "download the zip" link straight from the font's page (without having to register would be nice too)?
Dear MyFonts:
You guys are amazing! I love your site for finding and sharing fonts but you just saved my life (or at least a lot of hassle) because after realizing that some of my fonts didn't make it onto my new computer from my old computer, I was able to redownload an order from 2006...nobody has service like that! Thank you!
Dear MyFonts:
you say your dfonts are for free. yet one every font it says cost $19?
THAT IS NOT FREE!!!!
Dear MyFonts:
The new website is awesome! Although I find it more difficult to search for free fonts... Personal projects have to suffer :) You`ve done a hell of a good job on this site. Thanks!
Dear MyFonts:
I kept getting a script that continuously ran and was slowing my machine to a halt. Windows caught it twice and asked me if I wanted to kill it, which I did - but it still ran slow.
You need to do some quality control on the scripting. Otherwise no problem. It's a nice site.
Dear MyFonts:
Fonts want to save as Word Doc. files not .ttf files how do I change to .ttf files?
Dear MyFonts:
I am using Firefox 3.0 on Mac OS 10.5.8. The custom text feature is not working. It only displays a single letter. I can keystroke lots of text, but only the last letter is displayed.
More frustrating is that I can not get back to your old site. The url keeps defaulting to new.myfonts.com.
Dear MyFonts:
I just now used What the Font for the first time in awhile. You have indeed upgraded this tool. It worked better for me this time than ever before. I got exact matches for all three fonts in question.
Dear MyFonts:
Dear MyFonts,
I've been browsing [and buying] fonts off your site for afew months now, being the Junior Illustrator that I am, but I was wondering if there was an option to be sent an alert / message / email whenever a selected foundry puts up a new font [or if there isn't one, whether one could be put into place]?
I love my Scriptorium [to name one example] but its a beast to go through at 400+ fonts to see what, if anything, is new so yeah, that's all I've got right now. Just keep the good work. I love this place!
~Dan, UK~
Dear MyFonts:
I just downloaded a font as a SEA but got the message "You can't open the application VerandaPosterSGR.sea because the Classic environment is no longer supported. " I'm running snow leopard on an Intel G5. So is this a self extracting archive for an older operating system?
Dear MyFonts:
Your website is fantastic! The font finder has got me out of many a sticky situation... Thanks!
Dear MyFonts:
Question: Do you have futura heavy in the format of Windows True Type, I would like to make a trade, because I bought 3 futura bold, if that's permissable.
Dear MyFonts:
Lately, I feel like when I do a search on your WTF forum search bar, the results are nothing close to what I am specifically searching for. This happens when I type: Black Chancery into the WTF forum search. You would think I would get all the posts about the font Black Chancery (they exist; a lot of them) but instead, a lot of them seem to be unrelated. (The top one IS the Black Chancery WTF forum post that was active within the last 5 minutes, but the next was a post about Arrus Blk, then Goudy Sans Black, then Gravur Condensed, Then Myriad Pro-Bold.
I tried using quotations around "Black Chancery" in hopes that it would look for that specific word combination only, but it did not. Can you make your search box support quotes?
Why doesn't it sort by relevance better? Seems like it sorts by most recent, but to ANY search term, not ALL search terms. Seems like it found some with the word "Black" in it, but that was NOT helpful.
This may be a fluke with "Black Chancery" since both of those words are also found in other font names. Not sure. It just didn't seem to always be like that.
Dear MyFonts:
Some fonts tagged "Free" under "Find Fonts" -> "Tags" display as $0, but when you view the shopping cart those items have a price by them and are in fact not free after all.
Also, when i'm updating my cart by removing items, the total cost updates (albeit slowly) but the drop-down for alternate currencies does not update.
Thanks.
Dear MyFonts:
I just got an valid answer to my query on WhatTheFont here: http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/forum/case/236040/#msg625643
I tried to change the status to solved, but the status bar indicated that it was trying to read google-analytics.
Thought you should know.
Dear MyFonts:
much cleaner simple nav. I prefer simplicity. as to functionality, nicely intuitive. nice job.
Dear MyFonts:
Do you have a keyword for fonts in which an icon or illustration makes the letter? Examples would be Toolbox and that font the makes the letters out of humans in acrobatic shapes. I am trying to find more fonts like this and don't know what to search under.
Thanks!
Dear MyFonts:
I can't use the beta site, it crashes my system after struggling to open the page every time. My computer is 4 years old.
Dear MyFonts:
I had a download abort, now it won't let me do a new download as it says one is still in progress - even though it isn't since my task manager is clear. Help!
Dear MyFonts:
I like the new "state of the art" MyFonts site, although it's a bit resource hungry and made my old computer crash several times. I'm looking forward to a function to refine font selections to several tags, like "serif", "elegant" and "modern", and a single letter preview.
Dear MyFonts:
Dear MyFonts:
I have been looking all over for a font named Wasted Collection from Precious Moments. Can you help me?
Thanks
Dear MyFonts:
How about being able to drill-down into the db by adding more tags in the "related tags" area?
Dear MyFonts:
I can't easily find the full character map for fonts in the Beta site and that is a huge issue that should be addressed and made clearly accessible as it was on the old site.
Thanks.
Dear MyFonts:
Your beta site is cool in some respects, but there is still much to be desired. For example, where is the "My Library" link? I like to see my purchased fonts in sample format, but I have to go to the "old site" to do that.
Dear MyFonts:
I like the new format--a few more clicks, but many more options. You shopping cart is absolutely the best, and I'm a web developer.
Dear MyFonts:
Really prefer original site...thought tjere was a way to go back to it?
Dear MyFonts:
When adding fonts, I'd like the option for it to remember which album I added the last one to and just add it to that one. Also, it'd be more user friendly if I didn't have to check an "OK" box after adding the font--other sites just show it on the page.
Dear MyFonts:
I was going to buy a font, but your cart is really kind of strange. I entered credit card information, and the only link was to back to the cart, from which the link to continue took me right back to the credit card screen. I would have had to enter credit card information over again. It seemed like that this would repeat ad nauseum, so I'll just buy the font somewhere else. You should look into this.
Dear MyFonts:
It looks great, a lot more accessible and great way to shop. Well done.
Mind you I didn't buy anything today, but was very tempted, and will soon I'm sure.
Dear MyFonts:
Love the minimalistic look! Love the ease of adding fonts to albums.
I'd love to be able to refine searches and be able to choose "similar fonts" but only sans or only slab for example.
Dear MyFonts:
Looks good but logo is a bit boring.
Dear MyFonts:
I like the new format but miss seeing a listing of all the foundries in one place.
Dear MyFonts:
New site is boring… It’s not for my Opera browser and I can’t return to the old site too. :-/
Dear MyFonts:
A phone number would help. I screwed up an order, am in a hurry to fix it, and your help email isn't getting back to me.
Dear MyFonts:
new site painless - worked very well. Even remembered me even though I haven't been there for awhile.
Dear MyFonts:
LOVE the new site. it's clean and crisp- exactly what a great site like this should be.
Dear MyFonts:
Why isn't the hot new fonts being updated?
I believe it has not changed since Wednesday (october 15th)!
Please update!
Dear MyFonts:
i love graphic
Dear MyFonts:
We are looking for a fixed space font similar to Courier New. For testing purposes we have been using Courier New, but found it is too light for our printing needs. Do you have a font very similar to Courier New that is darker and with a full character set (smart quotes, section symbol, em dash)? Any help or advice you can give us is appreciated, thanks.
Dear MyFonts:
hi, if i need to use those fonts on adobe illustrator, how can i have them??
thanks in advance
Dear MyFonts:
Hi there,
I just paid for and downloaded a font. No, this is my first time doing this and do need some help.
The myfonts downloader is on my desktop however i'm not sure how to get the font I ordered so I can extract it or add it to fireworks or word. How do I actually use the front?
Dear MyFonts:
great jobs guys, this website is amazing
Dear MyFonts:
Love the beta! Question is: why is it STILL a beta???!!!
Dear MyFonts:
Spencerian Palmer Penmanship: Beautiful font if you stick to the lowercase. BUT I am having a huge argument with a print rep ... a PDF proof she sent with this font looked great, but when it printed the trapping software knocked out part of the lower-case "t"--it looks as if there is a lower-case "i" sticking out on the left side.
The print rep insisted that I must have put an "i" behind the t, but I've checked and checked and there is NO "i" anywhere in the document ... no text frame, and in the PDF no object to grab.
The way the font is drawn it DOES look as if there was, at one point, an "i" to the left of the "t" that was merged, perhaps when they were designing it. Zoom in and you'll see.
In the meantime, the print rep is trying to blame it on me. Help, help, help--can you help me prove it's the design of the font?
Dear MyFonts:
Good work.
VAST improvement over the old site. MyFonts beta is a great online tool for finding and testing type.
Dear MyFonts:
It doesn't get more 2.0 than this.
Question tho, of all the fonts at your disposal... why is the logo kinda cheesy and hand drawn a'la MyLifetime?
Dear MyFonts:
looks good!!!
Dear MyFonts:
Does MyFonts have a similar pricing policy to Vllg.com taste test?
http://www.vllg.com/tastetest.php
MyFonts says:
Yes, you can upgrade from a single weight to a family package with in 30 days.
Dear MyFonts:
This is the place I come to when I need to find a font name - 80% of the time, it works. Can't beat it.
Dear MyFonts:
Hey, just an idea - instead of packaging the combined ZIP file for the fonts as multiple ZIP files within the main, why not just put the contents of each file in a separate folder? It would save the bother of having to extract the main ZIP and all the archives within.
Dear MyFonts:
LOVE What the Font. Quickly found the font I was trying to identify. Thanks!
Dear MyFonts:
The new site makes the old site look like a joke.
Dear MyFonts:
Your beta site is awesome! Keep it going!
Dear MyFonts:

I cannot find out what this font is? does anyone know?
Dear MyFonts:
I cannot find out what this font is? does anyone know?
Dear MyFonts:
Using Firefox or Safari cannot figure out how to add anything to my cart. I'm guessing it's not working properly???
Dear MyFonts:
love your site and service. keep it up!
Dear MyFonts:
Purchased and am attempting to download Lassigue font for Mac OS. your site says it's a ZIP file but it downloads as an SEA file and I cannot uncompress it.
Why the discrepancy? When it says ZIP file, I expect a ZIP file.
Please advise.
Please note: I have stopped using other online font sites for similar reasons. Don't be one of them...
Dear MyFonts:
One of the best font recognizers but just to report something that the automated WhatTheFont.
http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/forum/case/228284/
It was recognized as Soho Gothic Pro Thin from Monotype but WhatTheFont didn't really come remotely close.
Keep up the good work--
Dear MyFonts:
Can you sort of moderate the font tags? For example, I navigated to the tag, "body font" but virtually all (that I've seen in the first 3 pages) fonts there are not suitable to be body fonts..
Or develop another system where the authors don't just tag their fonts just for the heck of it.
Dear MyFonts:
As I'm clueless about fonts (but love them so!) I wondered if you could consider building a glossary of font terms. Thanks!
Dear MyFonts:
Really love the beta site.... slick!
Dear MyFonts:
thanks i found it
Dear MyFonts:
Dear MyFonts, is it posible that I can make a trade from DIN 17, because I bought two of them to DIN 1451 EF Mittel Alt.?
Dear MyFonts:
What a terrific site!!
I really like this new face!!
And what a useful net-ware the Font-Recognizer!!
Dear MyFonts:
great type! Thank you very much
Dear MyFonts:
I love it! It's cleaner and much easier to view than the old site - well done!
Dear MyFonts:
Nice design - simple.
A couple of small observations:
> there doesn't appear to be an easy way (other than search) to see a list of foundries or font's by foundry.
> when a foundry has a special price for a product, the price doesn't appear until you add the bond to the shopping basket - it should appear on the main product page
> fonts by category is difficult to browse as the lists can be very long and slow to load
Dear MyFonts:
I hate having to click 3 times to add a font to an album.
Dear MyFonts:
Uhh, yeah. I just cleared out my history and cookies. When I returned to MyFonts, I was surprised to see the old site - actually disappointed. I didn't realize that the new site was still in "Beta". Anyway, I noticed my error and returned to the "Beta" site right away. The difference is astonishing.
Dear MyFonts:
It is a very nice design...as far as functionality...I only have a few concerns.
When browsing the fonts catalog, it takes too much time to upload...making my browsing time longer. Browsing is tedious, but this makes it a hassle to the point that I started using the "fonts.com" website to browse for font selections.
I am on wireless connection, and your site takes more time to upload both the font style examples and the album images....I don't think the images of the font album is really needed. Perhaps, we could click on another link to view this information.
MyFonts says:
You can change the image size on every page. Use the sample controls.
Dear MyFonts:
I can only believe you're getting nothing but praise for the new beta site. As far as usability, functionality and visual design go, there is no comparison between old and new. I'd even suggest it could be the best font site out there. Really well done. I, for one, will be using the site as my first stop font shop. (you can use that if you like =P)
Dear MyFonts:
Makes the old site look like it was designed by a child. Maybe even an illiterate child. Looks great, keep it simple.
Dear MyFonts:
The beta-site is much better arranged than the old one. Very well done!
Dear MyFonts:
can you guys come up with an iPhone app?
danni
art director @JWT
MyFonts says:
We already have! http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/iPhone/
Dear MyFonts:
i love everything about you guys. keep up the good work.
danni
art director @JWT
Dear MyFonts:
Definitely better than the previous site!
Dear MyFonts:
Much improved. Well done.
Dear MyFonts:
The light blue font color is ok for a logo, but the menu titles and especially the popular tags do not read as well. If you use a color like this, it needs a background to stand out from, because it blends too softly with white in smaller sizes.
The masthead/banner feels weak overall due to lack of color. The landing page could be more attractive with a background to the banner.
Dear MyFonts:
I love this new/beta website. Fantastic. It is obviously not Flash. Works on my iPhone even though that's not exactly a good place to buy fonts.
Dear MyFonts:
I've sent a note about this before, but I will give it another shot ! PUH-LEASE compile all the Creative Character articles as one big PDF or in quarterly groups. Just something to where it can read off line. Printing to PDF inevitably garbles things. . . do some ePub of somekind. . .PU-LEASE ! ! ! thanks
p.s. like the new site a lot, but the specials expiration info upfront would help.
MyFonts says:
Keep your eye out for a full-on Creative Characters book to be published soon...
Dear MyFonts:
The new site is ok, but one area that I like on the old site that I do not see on the new site is the expiration date for font specials. On the old site, under the reduced priced is the day when the sale ends. On the new site I do not see that. I find the expiration date really helpful.
Dear MyFonts:
Dear My fonts
thankyou thankyou thankyou for this new site.
At last someone really trying to help designers, its an invaluable resource and a huge improvement on what was already a helpful tool - big thankyou and good for you!
Dear MyFonts:
Love the beta site. Big improvement!
Would be cool if you could favorite or follow specific foundries or designers and get updates when they put out new fonts. I know I'd start my browsing from this type of list. Just an idea.
Steve
Dear MyFonts:
It just happened that google sent me on the old website. What a big enhancement. I didn't remember it was so crappy-looking (regarding today's standards). The work done on this "new" version is really great. Underware's logo is a pearl — will be, when beta mention wil be removed. There are great features all over ;
The "similar a" feature is not the perfect one for what could be one of the most effective function : find similars font, with sorted and pertinent results (and not thousands items in the list) is IMHO the biggest problem graphic designers and editors have to face.
Example : I want a thin, almost hairline, informal, cursive and swashy font. Found Angel script. Almost done. Want to look at similar ones so that my choice is the ultimate. /morelike/90418/ => 3349 results. I won't look at 3349 fonts.
Would there be any way to filter these 3349 ? by tag ? Uncheck some [related] tags (don't want a wedding font…) ? The ability to search within this list ? Or to do a tag research tag1+tag2+tag3+tagn [search field with multiple autocompleting tags ;] ?
Keep up the good work.
Dear MyFonts:
It would be wonderful if on a particular font designer's listing (i.e,http://new.myfonts.com/foundry/Font_Diner/), we could somehow 'favorite' that font designer or add them to our 'friends' or something similar. That way I could keep track when that designer (or any other of my faves) adds new sets.
Just a suggestion. Thanks!
Dear MyFonts:
Hi,
I just ordered a font but i got postscript in stead of open font. Can I change my order to open font instead?
Marjorie
Dear MyFonts:
I'm sorry to let you know that I didn't buy from you, because you don't have phone support. I wanted to buy a font TODAY.
Dear MyFonts:
It is nice-looking and efficient, altho, my computer is old and overheats when there is too much Flash. Like the classic because it is simple.
Thanks.
Dear MyFonts:
Although your new interface appears a lot more "professional" and perhaps easier on the eyes, I find it easier to search and compare fonts with your "classic" interface. It's very easy to type in a sample and just scroll down and scan through the variety of tpefaces. I also like the "view more like this" button. Also, with the "classic" interface, I believe one can scroll through typefaces alphabetically, I find this a great feature for helping me choose and, if need be, to go back and compare or re-find something I liked but did not save.
Dear MyFonts:
Love your beta site but I don't find how to show only my post in what's the font forum, in the older one is so simple! Thanks, best regards
Dear MyFonts:
The 'new' site is clearly a vast improvement. It's nicely designed and as such makes me want to buy more fonts!
It's been 'beta' for over a year now though, it's blatantly time to ditch the old horrid design, come on now.
Dear MyFonts:
Brilliant site. just one thing - its not clear (to me anyway) how to search for list of commercially available fonts rather than just personal.
MyFonts says:
All fonts have commercial EULAs. Some also have personal EULAs in addition to commerical.
Dear MyFonts:
Used to be when you viewed a font and it wasn't what you were looking for, you could click the icon that said something to the effect of "find similar" or "view more like this". The feature you have now with the scrolling "a"s is less than useful. I really miss that old feature.
Thank you for this wonderful place to come, look and play!
Dear MyFonts:
Much better design.
- William Attaway
Dear MyFonts:
I love the beta version of your site!
Triny
Dear MyFonts:
"More fonts like this" has so poor relevancy that I can say it doesn't work at all.
Dear MyFonts:
Thank you for this great font search option on your site. You've saved a crucial project of mine where I couldn't figure out which font I had used. It kept me from wasting hours of time with going down my list of 20 000 fonts.
Dear MyFonts:
I enjoy the more visual display of fonts on the new site. But don't get me wrong ... I also loved the old site as well. But the new one is definitely better, in that I don't have to "guess" what the fonts look like. The displayed fonts are clearer and easier to imagine in my various projects.
The new site must be working ... I've bought more fonts! My only issue is that sometimes I'll find a font that's free, but when I'm ready to check out, I find I'm being charged for it. Sometimes it's a lot! That has me confused ... there should be more clarity of what "free" (or $0) is.
Dear MyFonts:
It said when I registered I got free font downloads where can I get credits to get those downloads
Dear MyFonts:
The new site is the best font searching site out there. Very sharp programming, and very smart features. Love it.
Dear MyFonts:
While I like the new layout, I find today that I am missing the sheep button to search for similar fonts. I have found that useful in the past. Back to the old site for a while.
Dear MyFonts:
Love the beta... ever so much more the defacto go-to site for all things fontish. That said, I log in and go to my Albums tab in advance of going on a Font Hunt for a new project and... WTF (no, not your 'f', the other one) I just don't see how to create a new album. I am sure I will find it (I hope) eventually. But this feature should jump out at you on that page at least.
On the old site's Album page, the 'Create new Font Album' link was right there in your face. Now, WTF?
Keep up the great (and tireless) work. (Member since 2006)
Dear MyFonts:
Apologies, please remove comment. Already reposted comment (below) for personal response.
Dear MyFonts:
Not sure where I'm meant to post this, bit I would like a little clarification as to a comment I received in the WhattheFont forums. The font http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/forum/case/224406/ was identified by one user, and then the comments page was appended by another user stating "Font identified: [removed -- illegal copy of commercial font]". I'm not entirely sure what this all means. Did I do something wrong?
Dear MyFonts:
MyFonts Crew and Site:
Great site so far. Just on board today. Hope the experts find a match for my font problem! Otherwise, great place to check out fonts and get up to speed.
Thanks much.
Dear MyFonts:
Dear MyFonts:
Thanks so much for the great website...easy to use, easy to download, easy to find stuff...love, love, love it!
Cheers!
Dear MyFonts:
I like the new layout much better.
Dear MyFonts:
Dear MyFonts crew,
Why do you sell Grumble (from Blue Vinyl Fonts, one typeface, price: 39,95$) when its free for download from Blue Vinyl official site? Someone could buy it, and threw 40 bucks away, because he could download it for free. Or someone could spend those 40$ more wisely, because there are many great cheap fonts on this site.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards.
Dear MyFonts:
I like the look of the new site, but I used to be able to tab through the old one when uploading a screen shot on WhatTheFont... now it doesn't work that way and I have to grope for the mouse to click the arrow.
Slows me down a little.
AND you really should put a BIG DISCLAIMER on this comment board to keep users from complaining about their orders, or posting their account info.
Dear MyFonts:
Hi there,
I bought Iowan Oldstyle a few days ago, but not all of them installed properly. i,e, Bold Alternate, Black Alternate, Black Small Caps, Extended, Alternate Italic, and Small Caps. I just get a rectangle. What should I do? I'd like to use all the fonts in the family.
Thank you.
Kristen
Dear MyFonts:
Whoa, I went to order and your site charged my order to a company credit card without giving me the opportunity to update the card information. We prefer to NOT have our credit card info. stored on your site. Name: pete@paradowski.com, password: anmaterzen.
Dear MyFonts:
The more I use the new site, the more features I discover. Brilliant.
Dear MyFonts:
I absolutely *love* the redesign.
I admit, I actually avoided your site before because you used Comic Sans on the home page. ;-)
Dear MyFonts:
The zip doesn't work. May I get a refund for the orders: M1668419 and M167350, please? If not, may I switch to DIN Mittelshrift Afternative?
Dear MyFonts:
If this doesn't work out properly, can I get a refund regarding M1668419, M167350?
Dear MyFonts:
Regarding my orders no. M1668419, and M167350: Some how they're mixing with Futura T, is there anything I can do about this?
Dear MyFonts:
I like the new site. The old one was nice too, but I like the veer-esque font graphics. However, I was disappointed to see the tag-cloud, that's so cliché and wordpress.
Dear MyFonts:
I adore the "find more fonts like this" scrolling function on the right. Navigation is very intuitive. Font display options very helpful. Very nicely done.
Dear MyFonts:
running safari. the form is cut off at the bottom when checking out so i could not complete it.
Dear MyFonts:
Hello,
I just bought Londonderry Air NF but you send me it in .otf and i need .ttf
Can you send me the good one on my email ?
Regards,
Davy
Dear MyFonts:
Hello from Finland Sorry

Dear MyFonts:
BUG ... I can add families to my albums, but not packs or special grouped fonts ~ WISH I COULD ~ this will be helpful in organization and decision making.
Dear MyFonts:
Other than my issues, suggestions and observations, very pleasing to the eyes.
Dear MyFonts:
OBSERVATION ... two days ago only 1" horizonal window runover w/ 800x600 browser; today, 6"+ runover ... makes for unpleasant browsing experience for those of us who don't want to buy new monitors; just fonts and stuff..
Dear MyFonts:
BUG /// ODD OBSERVATION ... Pay fonts remained in cart while I made and ate dinner; Free fonts vanished from cart ~ Why?
Dear MyFonts:
BUG ... Volume Discounts are not being displayed under the foundry/foundrynamehere sections, like w/ the old site. This info is very helpful and would be appreciated if we could view it here on the new site instead of bouncing back and forth between old new ~ thanks so much
Dear MyFonts:
I just purchased Papyrus font for 39.95 and downloaded it... I got a file that says 10568 Papyrus.sit but I have no idea how to get the font... Help...
Thanks.
Dear MyFonts:
spent an hour searching/accumulating - and preparing to buy - several fonts...had to go to meetings and planned to make purchases upon return but the cart was empty when i got back ...no time to search again.
Dear MyFonts:
great promo, everybody wants fonts but nobody has much extra dough... thanks.
Dear MyFonts:
so slowy and complicate, i prefer the old
Dear MyFonts:
hello, i can't read your newsletter because all your text is black on a black wallpaper (by webmail)... change code plz
call me if you want i spell you a screen copy
Dear MyFonts:
The new (beta) Site looks good and I like the interface - but it is really extremely slow ... maybe because the newsletter is only a few hours ago?
Dear MyFonts:
I LOVE the new site. "more fonts like this" section is genius. The sample text and sizing is great. Nice work.
Dear MyFonts:
I like the old site much better. I knew exactly where and how to find what I was looking for. The new site has too many distractions and is much harder to navigate. Please keep the old format!!
Dear MyFonts:
I LOVE the new site. A joy to use. Great interface.
Dear MyFonts:
LOVE your latest 10/$10 newsletter. Please consider creating one every month. Thank You!
Dear MyFonts:
i LIKE SO MUCH!
Dear MyFonts:
Dear Sir/Madam,
I made an order (Order Number: M1665820) today to purchase the Comos font sets. I intended to use them on Mac OS X but I found the downloaded versions are for PC. Please advise how can I get back the version for Mac OS X?
Dear MyFonts:
please include fonts as .zip files (this is a standard compression format) .sit files are not supported on a mac without 3rd party software
Dear MyFonts:
freakin awesome.
Dear MyFonts:
Why not put the new logo on the banner of the old site? . . . a couple of minutes in Photoshop.
Dear MyFonts:
Broken links:
http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/ahmed/
Dear MyFonts:
Awesome website - so user friendly!
Dear MyFonts:
For the pagination thing, could you please change the links to block-size? You know, so you can click on a larger area instead of just the page numbers. That would be great!
Dear MyFonts:
I really prefer the new (beta) site over the existing one. It's just fun to browse and it's much more 2009 :)
Dear MyFonts:
SUGGESTION ... I know who I am, I would prefer to see my user ID rather than my entire name displayed; especially since it's not in secure mode (https://) ~ for privacy issues & concerns. Thanks.
Dear MyFonts:
TYPO ... "I own it" check box should read either "I bought it" or "I got it" as only the maker or legal copyright holder actually "owns" it. Thanks.
Dear MyFonts:
I didn't go through with my order because you asked me 3 times to place the order, which to me is possibly a way to charge me three times.
Dear MyFonts:
Kære MyFonts:
Kære MyFonts
Jeg har lige købt Tandelle almindelig skrifttype i åbne skrifttype. Jeg kan ikke bruge det. Det skulle være true type font.
Kan jeg ændre den til True Type?
tak
Dear MyFonts:
Dear MyFonts
I have just bought Tandelle regular font in open font. I cannot use it. It had to bee true type font.
Can I change it to True Type?
thank you
Dear MyFonts:
BUG ... unable to select/group move/copy/delete fonts from albums; lots of extra mouse work here ~ can someone work on this as well ~ Thank you.
PS ~ found the color options ~ great!
Dear MyFonts:
BUG ... the new site takes data from the old site and does not let go ... the text I want to display in my album keeps reverting back to the old text from the old site, even tho I keep typing in the new text. This is a hassle to keep typing the new text in the same album. Can someone work on this feature? Thank you. P.S, I really like the COLOR OPTIONS in the old albums as well ~ that was fun.
Dear MyFonts:
Would like to be able to sort the fonts in my albums by maker, price, style, etc. Thank you.
Dear MyFonts:
I really like the old site. Each font sample had information that I could use in classifying and then organizing my fonts.

Dear MyFonts:
Has changed from awesome to epic!
Dear MyFonts:
I like the service so far, but please don't sent people newsletters unless they opted in to receive them. I don't recall doing so when I signed up.
Dear MyFonts:
This site is great. Interesting and easy on the eyes. Navigation is simple and easy to get used to.
Dear MyFonts:
Well done!. Really very very good.
Now for your next trick, can you ask Berthold to stop being so silly with their prices... ;-)
Dear MyFonts:
I love the choices I just found under "Sample Text" which allows me to view a potential font choice by showing numerals, street address, news headlines, etc. Don't know if that's a new feature on your site, but it's a great help. Thanks!
Dear MyFonts:
Can you create the option to email a PDF of an album? Great site, thanks!
Dear MyFonts:
MyFonts is one of my favorite sites EVER! LOVE THIS SITE and use it all the time!
Dear MyFonts:
Very cool in many ways. Love the preview of fonts: crisper, cleaner. But what's missing the most is the "Not quite what you're looking for? Try looking at more fonts like this." That is an awesome search function and distinguishes myfonts from other font sites. Kept me coming back.
MyFonts says: fixed on August 27, 2009
We do still offer that: go to a font that's almost what you want, then in the "More fonts like this" panel on the right click "show all nnn fonts".
Dear MyFonts:
What about a recently viewed list? I always want to go back to the same fonts to reuse, but haven't got a place to see them. If I've screen captured, I can usually WTF them, unless I've fallen for a script font.
Dear MyFonts:
It's beautiful. Glad to see you guys moving in this direction. Staying competitive and at the same time mastering user interface.
Great work!
Ken Zakovich
Dear MyFonts:
Hey tou sent me the wrong font! It will not work.
The page I selected from clearly calls the font "Palatino Roman". And that is also how it is listed in the cart.
But in checkout it is change to "Palatino LTStd-Roman" and they are not the same.
Please contact me ASAP to replace or refund.
Dear MyFonts:
Hi, I just order the Stu's Handwriting Complete, but I was saw that there is one Stu's Handwriting + Dingbats....please tell me where can I get it, because I already get the Stu's Handwriting Complete, but I can't find the Dingbats for this complete fonts?
Dear MyFonts:
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear MyFonts:
I was so disappointed back in the day when MyFonts first launched and it was so beautiful. Then someone made the horrible decision to pull the plug on attention to detail and fine typography and throw up some travesty. It made me not want to buy from a company that would make such a decision when trying to market their wares to typographers and designers.
I'm glad you've finally come to your senses. Beautiful redesign!
Stephen Bau
Dear MyFonts:
Wow! I typed in some words to see in Script type faces and the words appeared -- just as they should -- for a moment. Then the entire list suddenly appeared as headline feeds with national and world news headlines! Not sure if that was supposed to happen -- but I really just want to see the words I am trying match in type -- not "Iran parliment to reject Ahmadinejad"!
Dear MyFonts:
How exactly are fonts tagged as "free" yet when added to the card can cost money?
Dear MyFonts:
My albums should be a bit more clearly marked. Anytime you get a my albums popup you should see a link to all your albums. Thats my only gripe! love the site. Thanks
Dear MyFonts:
Great site - great ease of use. I really needed this font, and with your purchase and download process, I was able to acquire it quickly.
Thanks so much!
Kevin & Michelle Pfeif
Dear MyFonts:
I love the new site. It is soooo much better than the old interface. I like how I can choose everytime which album to put the font in.
Dear MyFonts:
Very nice. Success on my first trial of the site!
Dear MyFonts:
I like what looks on offer for your new site. Only trouble is, its unbearably slow. I am going back to the old site for now hoping that it will speed things up! (other websites etc are working fine on my browser...). Maybe it's just an off-day however...?
Dear MyFonts:
Don't change anything. This site is perfect.
Dear MyFonts:
Thanks, but it's not the right font. The P has a curly bottom that
extends to the left to the first letter of the logo
Mickie
Dear MyFonts:
Much better. Navigating from cart to browsing... very nice. And intuitive.
Dear MyFonts:
In the bottom section of the Newsletter, why do you only choose comments of excessive praise and admiration? I'm not saying you have to start putting criticism and slander in there, but I'd like to see more suggestions or general comments about fonts. We all love the website; you don't have to remind us by dropping testimonials in our inbox. It's frankly a little tacky, and it's starting to give me that unpleasant feeling of a company trying too hard to sell themselves. Again, I'm not suggesting you quit publishing the testimonials altogether, just that you mix it up with font feedback, general comments and the like. It would be very refreshing.
Dear MyFonts:
is there any way i can find this font it is called Corleane. This is the first time i have visted this sight Jim g chitoon111@yahoo.com

Dear MyFonts:
I really like it. the options, the albums, tagging ect. Good work!
Dear MyFonts:
Hi
I'm loving the usability of the new site. One small thing I can't seem to fix is the colours inside my albums. I set it yellow on red for a particular job and now everything I look at sometimes goes yellow on red, even outside the album, which I'd like to revert to black on white.
Thanks :)
Dear MyFonts:
For the downloadable PDF receipts, it would be great if you could include the nature of the license on the receipt, for example, "commercial." I would really like this for my business records.
Dear MyFonts:
Dear MyFonts
I wanted to buy one Font. Fedra Serif B-Normal TF. Just this one – I don't want the bundle.
How can I get this?
Thank you for your answer
Brand-X, marco Perini
Dear MyFonts:
Hello MyFonts.com,
I love your site, the fonts, the service, the usability, the price, everything, BUT there is one minor thing that I wish you would implement into your UE. When I want to add a font to an album, it would be freaking awesome if that button to "add to an album" let me know if I had already added it. I sort fonts per style, and sometimes run across some that I like but can't remember if I added yet or not. It's a pain to have to click into the "add to an album" area before being notified if its already in there or not. It slows down the flow!
(also, when I press 'Enter/Return', if the sumbit funtion would be passed without having to click with the mouse, that would also be awesome)
Thanks for the great resource!
Best,
Dear MyFonts:
Love the new site. Much better than the old one.
Only thing is in search, you need to show a format for a search item. As an example if you want to search by date, what should it look like; 08/01/09 Aug 1, 2009 08-01-09... what format should the user entry be?
Dear MyFonts:
Are you out of your minds???? In this day and age of unemployment, rampant foreclosures, gas prices going sky high, you DARE to offer font at $49 a piece or even better 18 for $538??? I am not interested in buying fonts...last on my list of things to buy. Yep, you are off my list forever. Good Lord!
Dear MyFonts:
AMAZING!!! Immediate download and use....luvs it!
Dear MyFonts:
i like the new site. change is good if it means better usability and navigation.. which is what i find in the new version of this site.
Dear MyFonts:
I just bought the SG DIN 17 SE Regular. And I love it. But by mistake, I downloaded in opentype I needed True type. May I switch to True type, please?
GaryN.Roussell
Dear MyFonts:
I like your new site. My only suggestion would be to make my albums a more obvious link (ie not in the drop down under my username). I always seems to be trying to remember where it is.
Thanks for the great site.
Dear MyFonts:
Excellent Upgrade work. The site is beautiful, VERY useful and usable, and above all comprehensive. For "elegant," the blue of the logo should shift to a little less power/sky blue, though I like the energy of the current hue...
And, FYI, works well (fast enough and 100% correctly) on my Mac G4 Mini / OS X 10.3.9 / Browser=Camino 1.6.8.
Dear MyFonts:
One more time, fabulous job makes by nice contributors. What a great website.
Dear MyFonts:
Want to thank you guys for all the help you've given me to identify fonts. This latest one was a bit of a corker since there are 6 font styles in one little ad. I have managed, with your help to identify 4 of them. Now if I can just get the other two done I'll be 4x4. Thanks again
Manny
Dear MyFonts:

Dear MyFonts:
The new site is a resource HOG! Painfully s-l-o-o-o-w-w-w-w! Much preferred the performance of the old site.
Dear MyFonts:
Aloha and thank you for all of your help in finding the fonts I need.
J.
Dear MyFonts:
Dear MyFonts!
I've noticed a problem with drop down list on /cart page. I deleted one font from the cart and the price in currency calculator didn't change.
Generally, the site is cool. Thanks for all this nice fonts))
Dear MyFonts:
The new web is lovely, but the old one seems:
- to work faster here in Indonesia
- to look better on blackberry screen
If you guys can somehow make the new site not as heavy as it is today, also gadget-friendly, I believe you will open new markets.
lia s.
Dear MyFonts:
I just bought two fonts from this site (hi-light, regular and bold) and when I get them into illustrator they do this wonky inverting thing when the connecting strokes overlap....which probably means that the original designer did not make sure that all the paths we're going in the same direction for every letterform. This is a problem that could have been debugged by myFonts.com before putting it for sale. I'd like to get a refund because this fonts is of unusable without a whole lot of futzing on my part.
love this site though!!
ALec
Dear MyFonts:
The new site is lovely!
Dear MyFonts:
I love the new site! FYI, it is much faster on my new iMac running Leopard than on my old iMac running Tiger.
Dear MyFonts:
LOVE your site. New site has lots of great features but it is SLOW, slow, slow. Hope this improves before you launch it for good. Still using the old site because of the speed issue.
Dear MyFonts:
I just purchased a font and it did not download. I need to get it and CAN'T. I am extremely disappointed with your site. It is not user friendly and I still have not gotten my font.
Dear MyFonts:
i recently purchased authentic ink font and i was wondering if there was a guide or someway of locating all the glyphs that are included with this font.
Dear MyFonts:
Can't choose a payment method to purchase
Dear MyFonts:
Very cool... speedy accurate response. Thanks!
Dear MyFonts:
just fine! precious site — i'll be back everytime i'll need some inspiration. thx 4 all MyFonts crew!
Dear MyFonts:
good service
Thanks
Dear MyFonts:
How do I reach the "album detail page?" The only thing causing me to return to the old site is that i can more easily select fonts to move or copy to a new album.
Dear MyFonts:
Great and wonderfull site!!!!! imense work you did! thank you soooo much!
Dear MyFonts:
I think you've wandered into feature overload. Just too many choices, pages are too busy. It's hard to say what I would remove. But my feeling as I browse for fonts now, as opposed to the previous site, is "what is all this stuff?" Why, for example, does it attempt to load all 1,299 fonts tagged a certain way. There's probably a way to stop this behavior. But where is it? I don't want to have to spend time learning new stuff when it's not going to benefit me.
Dear MyFonts:
I keep getting an error that no image was selected. Very frustrating.
Dear MyFonts:
Solved status does not seem to update in real time in the WTF forum even with multi-refreshes.
Dear MyFonts:
It would be great if you had an own category for those fonts who are applicable "@font-face".
Dear MyFonts:
Yes, That's it. Thanks to all you font Guru's
Dear MyFonts:
The pages for Athur Baker's “New” font families do not explain the styles RXSN, LXSN and SXSN. Does anyone know what those acronyms represent or what the difference is? The styles look basically the same to me in respect to either regular or italic.
http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/arthurbaker/new-marigold/
Dear MyFonts:
I also find the website very slow, espeically when loading the images once I click on a font. I like the overall functionality the website has though.
Dear MyFonts:
I can't seem to download my fonts...
"
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/serve_me/www/trunk/webroot/secure/download/download_pkg.php on line 406

perhaps i should put this somewhere else?
Dear MyFonts:
Too bleepin' slow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dont change what works.
Dear MyFonts:
My name (Łukasz Gręźlikowski) in user's tom menu isn't displayed correctly.
Dear MyFonts:
Thank you!!!
Dear MyFonts:
Question: Is it posible that I can change fonts? I still have the reciept? I have two of the same fonts (identical). Is this posible?
Dear MyFonts:
Hello!
The font I purchased in Order Number: M1609198 - 278107 Portfolio-Regular (OTF) $29.00 Wilton Foundry package, 5-user license appears to be corrupted. Would you please send me a replacement for the same. Thanks!
Dear MyFonts:

Order #M1607113
I ordered this for a PC not a MAC. I need it for a PC. What do I do?
I got a Open Face Font
Dear MyFonts:
THANK YOU!!!
Dear MyFonts:
I can't scroll down to see what is in my cart!!!! Using Safari 4 This is VERY annoying, so I had to move away from my purchase, and I don't know if my card details are secure as I had to resubmit the form, please can you confirm your site is secure.
Dear MyFonts:
cumbersome bull shit
bought fonts went to download keeps crashing
can't find download place need to talk to a human
Dear MyFonts:
This new redesign is looking and operating VERY nicely. Congrats!
Dear MyFonts:
Lovely! And I thought the old site was pretty damned good, too!
Dear MyFonts:
A Bug: I just noticed, that my name appears with a chinese character when I'm logged in. There should be the german letter: Ö (oe) instead.
Dear MyFonts:
The new site is really cool!
Dear MyFonts:
Marvelous,
thank you very much
i appreciate this.
all the best Team!!
Dear MyFonts:
Dear My Fonts ,
I bought your font handmade , order # M16001564,
it has installed properly , but I cannot find the extra ornaments ??
can you please help me ?
Thankyou !
cheers ,
Lucy Shepherd
Dear MyFonts:
It'd be a good idea if customers could "follow" by email-messaging the new creations of his favorites designers. Sometimes, and it happens with art too, fonts are favourited just because of the one who designed it. So opening your email and seeing that your favourite one made something new could increase sales.
Good luck and regards
Dear MyFonts:
Can we have a featured font archive so that we can look back at a featured font that we missed?
Dear MyFonts:
amazing stuff guys!
Dear MyFonts:
It would be cool if you could 'favorite' or bookmark a foundry within the site. I have several favorites that I go back to time and again, and it would be cool if I could keep tabs on them within the site... easily check them out, see if they've added something new to the site, and so on.
Thanks!
Christopher
Dear MyFonts:
The new site is WAY better!
Dear MyFonts:
Thanks luna :D
Dear MyFonts:
It would appear to be in violation of your privacy policy that on the beta site you have set the default for all the following as visible:
Your Albums list is visible
Your Tags are visible
Your Ratings are visible
Your I Own It information is visible
Automatically redirecting your customers to a beta site where their previous choices (such as their Albums from the existing website) are by default exposed to the public -- with no clue that these are "opt-out" items until the customer stumbles upon an obscure corner of My Account -- is simply evil. What if I had organized my Albums by client accounts? You would have unethically broadcast valuable proprietary information. Your designers have drunk the Web 2.0 Kool-Aid, mindlessly believing that all the world wants to frivolously expose themselves. Some of us have work to do, and we want to do it in private.
Dear MyFonts:
The new site looks great, but I think the current specials should have a prominent presence on the home page rather than being buried in the Find Fonts menu.
Dear MyFonts:
The new site is great. any-hoo, when browsing through fonts I noticed that "View Options" is in the right sidebar. What makes this bad is that it is the last block in the side bar and is getting pushed down by all the blocks above. this might be very frustrating for users working with in low resolution. at times "View Options" is 3/4 down the page. I think the best position for it would be in a horizontal bar like like the "Sample Text" directly above the "Sample Text" bar. Users usually {Search > Sort} not {Search > Scroll > Sort > Go back to top of page} Just a suggestion.
Santana
Dear MyFonts:
I thank everyone that helped me find the fonts I needed.
One was Fontdinerdotcom the actual font! I thought that was the website (which I know it is).
And the other was Pharmacy. A strange little font but non-the-less a font that was extremely helpful.
Once again, I want to express my gratitude for all the help.
Hurray for WhatTheFont!
Dear MyFonts:
I like the site, but the cached autoloading is a bit problematic. Seems to lock up the page a lot for no reason. For example, if you are listing 1000 fonts, your page auto-caches when you scroll down. Nice feature BUT, when you scroll up it keeps on going so it makes the page freeze. If you fix that, your onto something. I'm using IE7 on a PeeCee..
Dear MyFonts:
Wow. Love the new site.
Just one flaw: the cart module uses https, but also seems to do server requests over http, causing undesired security warnings.
Just to let you know.
Grtz,
Marten
Dear MyFonts:
I love the endless scrolling, but what i'd love even more is to see a "scroll to top" link that moves with the page, always at the bottom, like this one, so i can easily get back to the top.

Dear MyFonts,
I rarely leave comments and I'm not a blogger. I wanted to let you know that you did a fantastic job here with your new identity and in my opinion, equally important, the upgrade to your site. It works, It looks good and it makes sense. Super job!
Rich
Dear MyFonts:
i like this new format EXCEPT that the link to my albums seems gone...need a quick way to view my albums!
MyFonts says:
It's in the user menu at the top center of the page. If you're not logged in it says Sign In and if you are it's your name.
Dear MyFonts:
How could i get one font that i bought you but when i restore my pc i lost it the name of the font was cilantro?
Dear MyFonts:
Quick question, Our company is trying to decide on a font. Actually a most important font is for the numeral "1". I have segregated a selection of possible fonts in one of my albums. I would like to print out all the "1" on a couple of pages for an open discussion tomorrow. Is hter anyway to accomplish this. Thanks,
Pat Riley
San Francisco
PS: I think your site is fantastic, very fantastic. PGR.
Dear MyFonts:
Awesome job!
Dear MyFonts:
A great job!!!
Dear MyFonts:
I can say that I don't usually like website redesigns... but you've really done a great job! Give all involved a raise or free lunch in Miami or something. The site is easy to use and makes shopping for fonts enjoyable. Thanks.
Dear MyFonts:
new site header is repeated multiple times down the screen.
Dear MyFonts:
new site looks good.
Dear MyFonts:
I just wanted to say your "What the font" is awesome. I am a graphic designer who has spent many hours trying to replicate things for clients that have no clue what originally went into their design. This has seved me hours of searching. Love it!
Dear MyFonts:
Designers of fonts really compete.
Rating fonts is not as friendly as it seems.
I have noticed that the rating privacy system has been improved. However, designers still can rate themselves (5 stars) and also can choose "1 star" when rating new fonts that actually are very well designed. IT MAY SOUND RIDICULOUS BUT HERE AT MYFONTS THOSE THINGS HAVE HAPPENED, AND IT IS REALLY SAD. That kind of people unfortunately do exist.
Would you consider changing that system?
Rate should be thought not only for customers but also for the designers. For example: "Heart this item" from crowdspring.com is a good way: you choose wether to HEART IT (like it) or not. This will have this results: a good font will be hearted many times if it is good or less times if it is not. This system doesnt allow the "competitive designer" to "bad-rate" good fonts in order to be successful.
Well I hope you consider this.
Regards,
MyFonts says:
Foundry ratings of 5 stars for their own fonts or 1 star for other foundries' fonts don't count toward the average. That doesn't stop them from creating fake accounts, but you're never going to be able to prevent abuse by people with time on their hands.
Dear MyFonts:
"Trackbacks" help people to download contractual fonts for free.
Sometimes there are direct links to pirate sites.
It is not helping neither you nor the designers.
MyFonts says: fixed on July 14, 2009
Good point. I've turned off the trackbacks until we can put a moderation system in place.
Dear MyFonts:
Hi!
I think your website is very promising! Although it couldn't figure out the font type that I was looking (Eurostile Extended Black) for based on a uploaded picture, but I ad fun answering the "closing in" questions.
My suggestion is, that on the page where you can choose how to search for a font type, the currently 2nd option should be the first one, i.e. if you have a set of letters, type them here, because as a first time visitor I didn't know what's the difference and I figured, I will do all tests whatever is necessary to find the font and I was assuming that the currently the first one is the easiest one, when in fact the 2nd one is a lot easier if you only have a set of characters from a logo, brand name sign, etc.
I had to answer so many times "not sure" because it was using letters that were not in the word "Roseville". And I spent at least 10-15 minutes to find out that there is no match.
Regards,

Dear MyFonts:
When I visit http://myfonts.com I get:
Yet Another URL Shortener
I think the problem is that www.myfonts.com and new.myfonts.com are set up in your DNS as CNAME records, pointing to the real server.
But you cannot have a CNAME record for the domain name itself.
The solution is to have a redirect page at myfonts.com.

I wasn't too sure about making my first order of 'free' fonts but your process was flawless. Even the installation of my iMac was quick. Well done. I can only give positive feedback. If I ever get asked where to find fonts, now I have the answer. Thanks.
Dear MyFonts:
I would like to be able to create a list for the fonts I am considering buying
Dear MyFonts:
Even funnier, is after removing all fonts from the cart, it now displays:
"Your current cart subtotal: $0.00 ...which is approximately CAN $100.77"
Now that's a brutal exchange rate!
:-)
MyFonts says:
That's a bug... the conversion doesn't update immediately when you remove things from the cart. It will be correct on page reload.
Dear MyFonts:
I'll be purchasing the fonts I was looking for from another site. The shopping cart shows a conversion of $87 US to $130 Canadian.
The correct conversion for the day in question would be $87 US to $100 Canadian.
I'm not paying that extra $30, sorry.
MyFonts says:
The international prices aren't official. You'll always be charged in USD.
Dear MyFonts:
I can't get the fonts because your site isn't responding - downloading the installer timed-out. Is everyone asleep?

My cart is not working! icon at top of page shows the 3 items I selected; when I click on it, though, I get the message: your cart is empty.
Here's another gripe: new site does not allow me to set my own line of type on the buying options page. I liked that ability on your old site. I also liked being able to see the whole character sheet. The posters are nice, but its not enuf.

My computer crashed yesterday and I realized I hadn't backed up some of my purchased fonts on my portable hard drive. I logged on to your website and discovered I could re-download my previous purchases, even ones made a long time ago! That made me so happy. I am a very satisfied customer. Keep up the great work. I love buying fonts from you.
Dear MyFonts:
Good looking site. In the cart function, I would consider changing the blue button under "1. billing options" to read "save card info," rather than "submit new card info." As a first time purchaser on the site, I almost went elsewhere to buy because I thought something was wrong with the information I had entered. I was understanding the blue button as a "reset form" option, not that it is necessary to save card information for checkout.
Dear MyFonts:
This is a great improved and much needed redesign. The old site just didn't do justice to the service. I personally don't like drop-down menus, but sometimes we have to live with them.

Dear MyFonts:
Excellent Service
Dear MyFonts:
I would like to make a suggestion that you make the user expeerience better by allowing us to change the letter in the "More fonts like this". I am trying to find a font that doesn't have the letter "a" in it, and I have a very distinct letter in the text that I am trying to match, but it is an uppercase "S". I tried "What the font" but it didn't locate a font that was close enough to even find a similar font. I have tried to start to go through the scrolling of the letters but I have more than 2,000 choices on some fonts and 10,000 choices on others.
Might I recommend that you also make available an online service where you can select certain fonts and then myfonts will give you some options as to what the font might be, by comparing the fonts selected to each other. It could have check boxes underneath the certain letter if that letter has a strong characteristic.
I thought that myfonts.com had an option on the old site where you could go through a series of questions and it would give you a list of possible fonts.
Also what about making the "Tags" section a place where you can select or deselect tags for fonts so that it can narrow down the number of fonts that might be similar to the font I am trying to find.
MyFonts says:
Good ideas. The multiple-question site is

Dear MyFonts:
Dear MyFonts:
I generally like the new design, especially the What the Font interface — but is it possible that What the Font's functionality was somehow affected by the redesign? I've been using this service for years and found it indispensable, recommend it to all my colleagues, etc. — today, though, I found it failed to accurately identify two very common fonts.
(How common? The old fashioned way — by trial and error — I eventually identified them myself as Stone Serif and Stone Sans. Didn't take long but, to be honest, What the Font has made me lazy . . .)
What the Font's suggestions didn't even come close! Worth looking into?
Dear MyFonts:
Nice, but I much prefer the old site, because it is much faster and easier to navigate and quicker to find what I'm looking for.
Dear MyFonts:
Love the new site, just fantastic improvements over the previous one. Especially love the layout of the albums, and the new results pages are cleaner, although they do sometimes take quite awhile to load if there are a lot of search results.
I'm wondering if you've ever considered adding a forum (besides WhatTheFont), and/or a page about managing font files - perhaps even recommended font management software programs. I've had a very hard time finding ones that are good and can't seem to get my catalog of nearly 10,000 fonts organized into a manageable system. Would be great to get some peer and/or expert opinions on this subject.
Dear MyFonts:
thank you for identifying my fonts.
Dear MyFonts:
I'm loving the new site. The new logo is great, and I can't believe I didn't see the hand until just a few days ago. Absolutely brilliant.
I'm also loving the new waterfalls and font preview options, and that auto-loading as you scroll thing is unbelievably cool. So yeah, I'm digging the site improvements as they come. Great work!
Dear MyFonts:
I have been a customer of MyFonts for several years and love your service. Although your new site is colorful and pretty to look at, I really prefer the old site design for functionality, speed and ease of navigation. What I appreciate most about the new site is that you provide a link to your old site. Please continue to provide this link in the future. Perhaps the new site will grow on me but for the time-being, I prefer to use the old site.
Dear MyFonts:
Truly web 2.0 site!
Dear MyFonts:

Dear MyFonts:

Dear MyFonts:
Hi MyFonts,
I usually never leave feedback, but I really have to commend your redesign! It is intuitive, useful, and attractive. I wasn't a fan of the old site, as it seemed a bit kludgy, but the new site is amazing; you've definitely snagged me as a repeat customer-- I've gone from almost no visits per week to 4-5 with the beta. Kudos!
Dear MyFonts:
First good idea to build kinda community-site for a community that has interest in common: Fonts. Second good idea: building a tool wich helps to stay up to date with the tremendos growth of type by playing around with it.
Keep it up!
Dear MyFonts:
Just so much smoother and cooler
Dear MyFonts:
Really easy to use, like it!
Just one single suggestion the Featured font slide show could be tabbed. Maybe a nice touch?
Dear MyFonts:
Success in a day after registering! Wow!
Dear MyFonts:
I love the redesign and I love the continuous single page scrolling. But the functionality of the scrolling makes it hard to go back and find fonts and it's hard to stop scrolling and look at a font since the page keeps loading and pushes the content up.
Possible idea is that it could work more like a PDF document where you can just scroll down through the pages but still have the page number for reference?
I love the overall redesign and where functionality is going.
Dear MyFonts:
This site RULES!
Dear MyFonts:
What is a font similar to Suburban and Suburban Light?
Dear MyFonts:
Sometimes your website is so slowwww when loading font preview images, or when clicking in a field to type a search or custom text - I'll start typing and it misses half of what i type b/c the images below are still loading.
I do really like the functionality of the site and the navigation, etc. I just wish it was faster.
Dear MyFonts:
hi the new site looking good, user interface, navigation is very simple, nice job, better fine tune the designing part.
Dear MyFonts:
I love the new beta site. How could you consider going back?
Dear MyFonts:
Best damn font site/selection I've ever seen.
Thank you for PARADISO!
Dear MyFonts:
I love the new site!! Especially the little area where you can "see more fonts like this" and scroll through other fonts. Also love the tag line area so if you like a font you know what words to search for similar fonts under.
Dear MyFonts:
Looks fine and clear everywhere ... really nice.
Somehow Opera doesn't like the font-detail view ... 7 HTML-Errors here too ... maybe that's the reason?
Looking forward to the gamma review!
Dear MyFonts:

Dear MyFonts:
The new site design is easier to use and faster -- great job!
The only comment I'd add is to please drop IE6 support if you have it ;-)

Dear MyFonts:
Hi!
I'm not a designer, I'm more of a video editor, but I occasionally have used What The Font, and it has saved my life!! :):) It's definitely a great idea and very well implemented.
I have realized, through a Google search, that you used to have a utilities page in the old site. Unfortunately, even though it's still online, it's rather outdated.
Couldn't MyFonts keep it up in the new site?
I'm looking for a font manager that will identify my duplicate fonts for me, and clean up the mess in my fonts folder. I'm trying out FontExpert 2009 (trial), but not very impressed: I find it complicated to use with a not very user-friendly approach. When I use the 'find duplicates', it seems to acknowledge as duplicates some that are not, and doesn't find some which are.
Is there any software(s) that you can advise/suggest?
Keep up the great work! Your site looks great and is very easy to use!
Dear MyFonts:
A while ago you changed this site. I have to say that I hate what you did. It used to be so easy to navigate and it was much more friendly. I find it very frustrating now. I used to recommend it to all my friends but now I hesitate because of the problems I have with it. Please go back to the old one. I will still use you but you sure make it difficult.
Deb, formerly a frequent buyer.
MyFonts says:
We plan to keep the old site around for quite awhile. Please feel free to keep using it at

Dear MyFonts:
I want a typographic version of Adobe Kuler. Kuler is really fun and useful for building color pallets (and sharing interesting combinations).
I think it would be interesting to have a Kuler-like thing for typography: it lets you build a typeface pallets. At its simplest, it'd help you find a nice pairing of display & text fonts. Beyond that you could do other things - playing with more than 2 fonts; families of fonts that have sans, serif, small-caps, etc; or build your own family choosing compliments.
Plus with all the sharing of typeface pallets, you might generate more sales (e.g. because you find a to-die-for combo and you've only got one (or none)).
MyFonts says:
Perhaps the "albums" feature is what you're looking for? You can create collections of fonts, add comments, and share them with other people.
Dear MyFonts:
I want to be able to share font urls with my sample text
MyFonts says:
You can do that by using the "Permalink to these settings" link in the sample text options menu (click the gear icon to the right of where you enter your sample text).
Dear MyFonts:
Your new site is much better than the old one. Everything works intuitively, the site is clean and easy to navigate, and it's a lot easier to find the right font for the job. Great work!
Dear MyFonts:
I think the site is great, it's fast becoming another tool that makes my life/work easier!! The only criticism I have is when searching for similar fonts, you generally have to wade through 1000's of fonts that aren't similar in the slightest, I realise this is down to users tagging them incorrectly, but couldn't you have little more control over their rubbish tagging! Other than that, keep up the good work!
MyFonts says:
Indeed, we hope that the new flexible tagging system will help improve the quality of the tags. Please help out by voting against "rubbish tags" wherever you see them! On any font page, when you're logged in, hit the [-] minus sign next to any tag to banish it from your page. If enough people do that it will stop counting toward search results etc.
Dear MyFonts:
Seems to be quite a delay between tagging something, then having that font show up under that tag in "my tags". (couple minutes) A bit frustrating.
Other than that, the site looks great!
MyFonts says:
That's true, the tag listings are only recalculated every 10 minutes or so.
Dear MyFonts:
I'd like to see a way to order or sort search results by price. This could avoid falling in love with a font that is $99 when our budget is, say $25... Thanks!
MyFonts says:
Dear MyFonts:
New site is very clean and clear. Just one thing - after I paid with Paypal it wasn't immediately apparent where I should click to download the font I just bought. I have a lot of fonts in my order history so I just saw a long list of stuff. A highlighted download link box or something would be cool (or maybe there is one and I missed it)!
Keep up the great work!
Dear MyFonts:
I want to thank you very much for the help you are giving me ....
If it wasn't for you..... I don't know what I would do ....
Thanks again.

I like the new site design - very clean. A few issues I noticed is that the text is very difficult to read in IE7/IE8 or Firefox 3.x browsers. Text is much clearer in Safari browser. Additionally, I too have experienced slower response times on the new site vs the old site.

I especially liked the little icons next to the fonts that show the fonts being used. Very effective. You have a beautiful esthetic. It's inspiring. I hope that you are wildly successful.
Dear MyFonts:
I was searching google for myfonts because i didn't have it bookmarked. When i came across the old site i was confused until i saw click here for beta site. This is the one i was used to using and my goodness it is infinitely better!! well done on the new site!!

Dear MyFonts:

thank you for hosting the WhatTheFont area. I had a response in less than 8 hours and it was an exact match! Thank you.
Dear MyFonts:
the old site was infinitely better
Dear MyFonts:
I've noticed that Nick's Fonts (http://new.myfonts.com/foundry/Nicks_Fonts/) offers "FREE" fonts with a commercial license, HOWEVER, when you add them to your cart they charge $7.00 in order to download.
Why is that? When something says FREE showing NO COST on the browsing section THEN changes to $7.00 when added to your cart that is VERY MISLEADING!
I understand that many fonts have either a free personal license or a paid commercial license...but those provide you with the option of choosing either one. The FREE versions of Nick's Fonts do not allow said option... you are led to believe you are getting a FREE commercial licensed font when you are in fact going to be charged.
I just wanted to bring this to the attention of the community.
MyFonts says:
Price discrepancies like this are usually caused by one format being free while others aren't. We're working on a much clearer format choosing system for the cart.

Dear MyFonts:
Re: Your featured font Adhesive No. 7, it may not be Fraktur but it's certainly not free of 'historical taint,' as you put it. It's a blackletter as shiny as any SS boot, and it still strikes fear in the heart of any type-respecting non-Fascist. Coupled with the ultra-black black-and-red-on-yellow image in the next rotation, you've got a whole lot of Fascist going on here. Could we tone this down a bit? Yeah, the Bauhaus was cool and all, but when celebrating German design, there's always that nagging issue of the Nazis getting in the way. How 'bout a little more grotesque and a little less goosestep. Bitte?
Dear MyFonts:
I really liked the "similar fonts" option when I was looking for a font. I either don't understand your set up or I am just not seeing where I can select that option. Please make it a little more plain to see.

Dear MyFonts:
What are the licensing terms for your free fonts, including those from Ray Larabie? Is it possible to use these as downloadable fonts in HTML?
MyFonts says:
I believe Larabie's free fonts can be used for just about anything. You can see the license for any font in the cart.
Dear MyFonts:
Great site and quick!! Some of the fonts listed as free in the search after they appear in my cart they have a price next ti them. Don't know how this can happen? Maybe it's a bug?
MyFonts says:
It's caused by different formats being different prices. You can get the free price by juggling the formats in your cart. We know this is annoying and are working on a better format/price choosing method.
Dear MyFonts:
Love the Beta site, it's now the first place I look to for fonts and all the handy info (creators, foundries etc.) I go to on the internet. Nice one.
Dear MyFonts:
Wow, got to my order history in three click! I like the Beta!
Dear MyFonts:
I've been trying to make myself use your new beta site but I find myself getting extremely frustrated. I've used it at least half a dozen times now and it just doesn't run as smoothly. It freezes on me, locks up and just plain old runs slower taking up to much of my time. I usually try to identify some fonts in the forum while waiting to get help on the font in the image I've submitted. Instead, I find myself frustrated with the slowness and locking up and just end up exiting instead. I tried to identify a font in an image for someoone just now and it wouldn't submitt my comment even though I had the URL address. I couldn't find the "enter" or "Submitt answer" button or whatever you would want to call it. I tried "Post comment" at least 3 times & it kept just flashing the screen and I was still looking at the same thing with no comment as to what the problem was & I just don't understand. I'm not really sure what the problem is but I'm heading over to the old website. Hopefully its working better.
P.S. I do like the fact that over in one of the right hand columns of the forum you can see what the fonts have been identified as. Thats very helpful and helps speed things up.
MyFonts says:
The new website is hard to use in IE6.
It's very Javascript intensive, and IE6 (and IE7) don't have very good Javascript engines. We're keeping the old website around for old browsers.
Dear MyFonts:
Great Site!!! I love it. Good Design.
Dear MyFonts:
Can you consider making e-mail notification for foundry owners, when someone buy fonts from their foundry, they receive e-mail notification.
P.S. - This is the best font place on the internet :)
MyFonts says:
You can do that here: https://old.myfonts.com/secure/reports/
Dear MyFonts:
Love your site!
Two things:
What font is used for "myfonts???" ...or is it a graphic?
I added three different fonts from "Nick's Fonts" to my cart, all of which were listed at $0, but then appear with a $6.50 charge in the cart. (One of them was Blue Plate Special.) What's up?
MyFonts says:
The logo was
designed by Underware.
The free font pricing bug is caused by different formats of the font being different prices. We're working on a better system for choosing these. You can get the free price by juggling the formats in your cart.
Dear MyFonts:
Excellent, looks neat. It was about time to change your design. Keep up the good work!
Dear MyFonts:
As someone quite new to working with fonts, can you recommend a site or a book which teaches how to efficiently use the variations in font families -- for example those with ligatures, swashes, etc.-- when typing the texts? Is it better to type all the text in the basic font and then go back and select specific letters and change them to the swashes, or ligatures? I hope there is a more efficient way of doing it than what I have been doing which is almost letter by letter. I am sure that experienced graphic artists have a feel for what will work in a given situation, but I'd like to learn. Any suggestions?
Dear MyFonts:
After we pay cc. are we going to receive install CD from mail or download directly from your webside?
Best Regards!
Jeff
MyFonts says:
Download, unless you explicitly order a CD product.
Dear MyFonts:
You've changed it since the weekend, right? I liked when the suggested tags were coming up on the right side of the search results, and now they're at the bottom. Also weren't there blue or gray color blocks instead of an all-white page? Broke things up better. But thanks for fixing the sort alphabetically feature that wasn't working before.
Dear MyFonts:
Is it just me.... or does anyone else have MAJOR problems with the new site? Conceptually, I LOVE the new features. But at least 50 percent of the fonts never load a preview for me. And I can never get the fonts in a saved album to display different sample text. Just hangs and hangs and hangs and doesn't display the new sample text.
(I'm usually using firefox, if that matters.... But I've noticed the same problems on IE, too.)
Dear MyFonts:
That has got to be the biggest improvement to a site I've ever seen! Crackin Beta Gromit! :D
Dear MyFonts:
nice new site. i'll be coming back.
Dear MyFonts:
Well done thanx for all the help spot on
Dear MyFonts:
Incredible site redesign! Fantastic!
Dear MyFonts:
Why does the sale price listed by the font not get reflected in the cart??? I didn't buy a font because of this.
Dear MyFonts:
Hi,
I just wanted to tell you I think your site is fantastic. It's easy to use, fun, fast, simple, looks great and makes me want to buy fonts.
Keep up the good work!
Dear MyFonts:
Hello! I've managed to change the Status of my posting to “Solved” but am at a loss as to how to edit the contents of the box labeled “Fonts identified so far (none)”. Thanks for your help and for a great site.
Dear MyFonts:
How do I post a font?
Dear MyFonts:
THANK YOU AKIRA1975!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For your call on thefont TheSerif 5/14/09. gracias, muchacho.
Dear MyFonts:
Dear MyFonts,
Love the fonts, love the look of the new site - but it runs really slowly for me, using Safari 2.0.4 on a dual 2.0 PPC Mac running OS 10.4.9. Slowly enough that I leave until the spinning beach ball o'death finishes doing its thing.
MyFonts says:
Safari 2 is a little too old for the new MyFonts site. Try Safari 3 or Firefox 3, the new site, and other sites, will fly along.
Dear MyFonts:
Very nice! I hardly noticed the difference until you pointed it out! I was able to get to what I wanted so easily with no distractions that I was almost gone when I noticed the beta site nudge. Good design. Maybe others will be more aware than I was but i like when the look and feel doesn't compete with my purpose for being on a particular website/web page.
Dear MyFonts:
since I never buyed (yet) a font on myfonts.com i don't know if will be a vat field of the buyer in the cart check-out process, but i think will be much better put this infos editable in the account settings.
For Italian professionals (as well as European ones) vat number is necessary if you want to put the cost of some goods in the outcome costs of a company.
cheers
Dear MyFonts:
very nice and thoughtful website, and easy navigation, attention to details is very much visible.
good luck and look to see more.
Dear MyFonts:
great site, easy transaction, easy install,
thanks
michele
Dear MyFonts:
Is there a way to 'Search' for 'true type' fonts?
MyFonts says:
Yes! You can use the "font format" search filter. For example: http://new.myfonts.com/search/format_exact%3Awin-ttf/fonts/
Dear MyFonts:
THANKS SOOOOO MUCH FOR FINDING MY FONT FOR ME!!!!
Dear MyFonts:
This site ROCKS! Amazing work. I can't even consider buying typefaces anywhere else.
Way to go!
Dear MyFonts:
I finally figured out why the browser keeps lagging and freezing during scrolling of queries. You have the "Load fonts as I scroll" function on by default. It took me a while to actually see this option because i'm focusing more on zipping through font displays instead of options. Shouldn't this be turned off by default? It would actually improve the site speed. For those who want to take their sweet time staring at samples while more fonts load, they can turn this option on.
Just another thought. ;)
Dear MyFonts:
Excellent - many thanks again... saves hours...
Dear MyFonts:
I love the new beta site! This site is absolutely fantastic... head and shoulders above any other font site out there.
Dear MyFonts:
I purchased licences for, and downloaded, some fonts last year. The downloaded files were lost in a disk crash, so I came back to re-download them.
Unfortunately, I'm told 'Download unavailable,' with a popup suggesting that perhaps the foundry requested their removal. Can I get a more specific explanation of why I cannot download my Conduit ITC {Medium,Light} fonts any longer?
Thanks..
MyFonts says:
Linotype withdrew permission to allow order history downloads for their fonts, and we were legally bound to comply.
Dear MyFonts:
I cannot find the font I just purchased anywhere. Not in my Mac > Library > font folder. Used your Mac installer but not to be found. How do I download the zip file instead???
Dear MyFonts:
why does this beta version keep changing to 'commercial use' option when I try to check out? I want a 'personal use' option.
thanks
MyFonts says:
Only a few foundries have separate personal licenses. Most fonts are only available with commercial licenses.
Dear MyFonts:
i got a problem, because i pais for a wrong font...
yester day with this email i have paid for a font call itc anna,
but i did not know that was the open type, i want tru type.
what should i do ? it's so stupid when i print it out the letter is not that beautiful as i want...i need true type BUT NOT open type. can somebody help me ?
i want to use it to make my logo..
Dear MyFonts:
You should suggest links to FREE fonts BEFORE sending us to fonts we have to pay for. I'm a graphic artist and the last thing I want to do when I'm busy trying to match up a logo for someone is worry about adding $20 or $44 to the bill just because I didn't have that font and it was too much of a pain to recreate it manually. I'm not sure if you DO already display the free fonts first. I just know every time I need to use WTF all the results are commercial fonts. You should work out a partnership with free font web sites like Dafont. I use CorelDraw X4 and I love that WTF is integrated right into the program. I just hate how using it seems to be a waste of time because I'm not going to pay for a font. I think paying for fonts is stupid in general. Who pays for a font?
MyFonts says:
You can sort search results by price.
Dear MyFonts:
I like the new format!
Dear MyFonts:
I'm LOVING the new site! If you are looking for suggestions, I have only one. Could it be possible to search multiple criteria? For example, hand lettered AND elegant AND script -- in that order. Keep up the good work!
MyFonts says: fixed on May 25, 2009
You can do that with search filters: http://new.myfonts.com/search/
Dear MyFonts:
Awesome new look.. easy to use!
Dear MyFonts:
Oh god this site rocks! So nice to use and I like layout. Added to one of my favs site of fonts! Thanks MyFonts!
Dear MyFonts:
excellent look n feel website (+ajax driven makes it real pleasant!) just a few glitches here and there from a user point of view but this definitely puts you high on the font authorities ranking!
Dear MyFonts:
I'm not real crazy about your new website.
I can't seem to locate a way to view all of the characters in a font.
Also, when I'm searching and it is yielding many results, I don't like the way my scrolling freezes and I can't move or do anything different as more styles load -- and if I go to search for more detail on a font that comes up with my search, when I go back, everything has to load all over again.
I finally get frustrated and leave.
Dear MyFonts:
too complex to download/get a font.
Dear MyFonts:
I must say that I am very impressed with the look and feel of your web site. The new web site makes you look like a legitimate player in the font industry. The logo is even more impressive. Being a logo designer myself, that the first thing that I noticed about the web site. TOP NOTCH LOGO!!!
Kudos!
Ferney Lopez
Dear MyFonts:
First of all I love your website! Love the new look and feel :) But on my PC, the font is really hard to read - there's no anti-aliasing and it looks very very hard edged, which at small sizes makes some strokes of the font disappear :( Very hard for readability.
Dear MyFonts:
I am so thrilled by your new site that I have been sending it out like mad! Excellent resources, thank you!
Cheers-
Michelle from SF
Dear MyFonts:
Love some of the searching features, but it's very hard to find my albums on the new site!
Dear MyFonts:
I have been trying to buy Interstate fonts. after having gone through a long drawn process of selecting fonts, formats, buying details. I finaly received a prompt stating that the font is not for sale in India.
I would suggest that such information shoudl be available right in the beginning. As soon as a buyer selectes a font for purchasing, the copmputer must ask for the country of the buyer. In an event that the font can't be sold in that country the process must stop immediatelty saving valuable time.

Good idea.
Dear MyFonts:
i was not able to downloaded font and the window disapear
Dear MyFonts:
I love the new site - a pleasure to use, I've had no problems with it myself ...
Dear MyFonts:
Well this is probably my 3rd posting of feedback and once again I find myself saying the same thing. I really appreciate the time and money you must be putting into this new site with all of the additional widgets and functionality but man, is this new site bloated and full of hickups!
I just spent 30 minutes trying to locate some fonts for a logo design, the page skips, lags, locks up, displays the not so beautiful browser warning "Done but with errors" and I just had to close the browser.
Switched over to the old site and "boom done"! Cruised right through the results, found what I wanted and got the hell out of the area so I could actually do some work.
In terms of streamlined functionality (which is what we want) the new design must be a year away from the effeciency of the old. I'll continue using the "original myfonts" site and save my frustrations for design tweaks the client throws at me.
Dear MyFonts:
the new beta looks nice, clear, modern and a lot more usable than now, ... congratulations
Dear MyFonts:
I've had the problem where when I am viewing all the fonts in an album, and I enter in my own text "Example Text Looks Like This" it shows up, but cuts off for larger fonts. If I check the box to "Fit to Width" it seems to poop out and only shows previous example text I typed in, or it just doesn't work. (I use Mac OSX10.5, and Firefox latest version).
I feel it might be nice to give your users a pagination option, as it seems to display thousands of fonts and you just continue to scroll and scroll and scroll. It isn't that bad, but when you keep scrolling for such a long time you start to wonder "when have I looked at EVERYthing?" you have no way to know. previously, you may have known "Your search turned up 550 results" and you can decide how many pages of those you actually want to look through. Now you can't really do that.
MyFonts says: fixed on July 13, 2009
The album sample problem is fixed. You can turn off the endless-scrolling with the "load results as I scroll" checkbox in the sidebar.
Dear MyFonts:
I love the new site! It's very easy to use. I think I only have a couple of suggestions/requests.
I love how you can "Add to Album" and select which album to add to, however, I don't like having that additional "click" where I have to click the OK button before going back to my search. Seems like a small thing, however when you add 50 fonts to an album it becomes a pain. On the old site, you could select a default Album and thus reduce your clicks to ONE, now it's THREE clicks. I would be happy with TWO!
Also, is there a way to search fonts by price? A lot of times my client will have a set budget and will request I don't show him any fonts above XX amount. I would love to filter the too-expensive-for-my-client fonts out if possible.
Great job on the redesign! Love the new logo too!
MyFonts says:
You can search by price using search filters: http://new.myfonts.com/search/
Dear MyFonts:
LOVE it! stylish, great looking and easy to use!
Dear MyFonts:
I like the fonts under 'delicate' font types. I do not understand if you buy the font style or use them for free . Can you email me a phone# that I can call and ask a couple questions please. THANK YOU, ZELENA BARBAY email zelena@deleaoil.com
Dear MyFonts:
dear myfonts, i love the site. it's self explaining, easy to use and the preview is great.
Dear MyFonts:
I dont like this site at all, the old one is clearer loads faster and do'nt give me any faults (tested and vieuwed on win98 xp service pack3 and vista computers in all currently available browsers)
Dear MyFonts:
MyFonts says:
We plan to leave the old site available for users of older browsers and people like you who just prefer the old site.
----
What do you mean by OLD BROWSWERS? That's bull if I ever heard it. It has nothing to do with any new or old browser how this POORLY PROGRAMMED site displays on a person's monitor!
But thanks for finally letting us know that the old site is not going anywhere so I can still buy fonts from MyFonts!
I keep trying this new site out to see if it has gotten any better and it is still a worthless piece of crap! I will gladly place new.myfonts.com into my HOSTS file now so that I cannot be redirected here any longer when I search for a font on Google and www.myfonts.com comes up!
THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THE OLD SITE!!!!!
Dear MyFonts:
I found mention of this site that I had copied from a "Before&After" magazine email months ago, with a write up on the font Sybil Green. I found your site very fresh and inviting, and will come back again, to purchase. Thank you for making this available and for the friendly and functional interface!
Mary Liz Tippin-Moody
Dear MyFonts:
With all the credit card info left with you i'd feel more safe if there was also a logout option once i've logged in...
Best regards
Chr.
MyFonts says:
It's under the logged-in user menu ("Your Name") at the top center of the page.
Dear MyFonts:
Special Offers is pretty heavy. What about showing only one poster per foundry? A lot of foundries have multiple sales. Maybe just show a random poster from each foundry. This would help to knock the page down to a more reasonable length.
Dear MyFonts:
I just bought BERLIDIN font and its not downloading a zip file...its downloading an .sea file. Could you please send me this font.
Dear MyFonts:
Love the beta site. Nice Job!
Dear MyFonts:
Wow! Glad i signed up. The website layout/navigation is so easy.
Dear MyFonts:
Thanks for all the help is finding fonts. It's SO easy and SOOOO fast!
Dear MyFonts:
I would like to be able to record my "recently typed custom text" in the dropdown of the type tester.
Dear MyFonts:
Hi,
In the "What's new section" (http://new.myfonts.com/whatsnew/last21/foundries/?sort=new&view=list) it is not possible to change through the tabs available
Fonts (136)
People (2)
Foundries (9)
Everything (147)
It keeps showing *Everything* (probably rss feeds have the same problem)
MyFonts says: fixed on April 30, 2009
Good catch.
Dear MyFonts:
I'm liking the new site layout. Very fresh!
Dear MyFonts:
Very, very, Very, very, Very, very nice Design. Much better than the old.
Dear MyFonts:
the site looks a lot better than before but i don't like how you have to use the automatic font detector before it allows to to submit to the forum, as it has never worked for me!
Dear MyFonts:
the new site looks much much much better i LIKE IT
Dear MyFonts:
Hi,
I could not find the font, using whatthefont!
So I clicked on consult an expert.
Then I had to sign up first
Now all I get is :

Dear MyFonts:
Thank you for the new site design.
It helps greatly when your deep in a project and low on energy.

Dear MyFonts:
CHANGING SAMPLE TEXT DOESN'T REFRESH
Dear MyFonts:
your suggested price for both lishu fonts is 129 usd
well, how much cost additional for this character in your set "龍" as your font (second set) wont display it.
lishufan
MyFonts says:
It looks like all the fonts with "Li Shu" in the name are meant for use with Simplified characters. Sorry.
Dear MyFonts:
Hello
Great fonts. I have a question regarding commercial use. I am a designer ( cards, giftware, etc) and want to know if your fonts ( after purchase) can be used as elements in products...say a greeting card.
Thanks so much.
In addition, are all your fonts available in a Mac version.
Barb
MyFonts says:
Almost all font licenses allow use of the fonts for commercial use in printed materials. And pretty much all fonts are available in Mac-compatible formats.
Dear MyFonts:
Uhg! the sample text won't change while I am in my album of fonts. It's just not refreshing and changing.
MyFonts says: fixed on April 28, 2009
Dear MyFonts:
I do not enjoy the beta site. I have always found myfonts the best site for buying new typefaces, especially since it was easy to navigate and experience each typeface. But this test site is crazy busy. And the design is simply gratuitous, doing nothing to enhance the usability of the site. Not a pleasant visit.
MyFonts says:
We plan to leave the old site available for users of older browsers and people like you who just prefer the old site.
Dear MyFonts:
sorry... that was a really long post!
