Jensen’s beautiful types have been models for several typefaces since they were cut in the fifteenth century: this hand-drawn Jensen revival maintains much of the beauty and character of the original. Serifs, stroke weights, and curves vary from letter to letter, giving ITC Legacy a distinct appearance. Legibility is enhanced by its open counters and clean character shapes. Jensen revivals usually use the italics of Aldus Manutius or Renaissance handwriting as models for companion italics. Arnholm used the sixteenth-century types of Claude Garamond.

The ultra weight, appropriate for larger sizes, adds to this design’s practicality.
