

A disconnected script designed by Martin Wilke for the Monotype Corporation in 1965; Wilke designed several other scripts for German foundries, namely Berthold and Stempel.
Berolina means from Berlin and the name was probably occasioned by the erection of the Berlin Wall; Berolina was the name of a 1930s typeface from the Wöllmer foundry, thus the name New Berolina. More…
