About this font family
Snell Roundhand was created by Matthew Carter for Linotype in 1966. The design is based on the handwriting of Charles Snell, an English writing master who wrote The Pen-mans Treasury Opend in 1694.
Snell is a connecting script that is clear and easy to read; use it for invitations, menus, packaging, and advertising.
