

Lo-Type was designed by Louis Oppenheim and first released by Berthold in 1914.
In 1980 Erik Spiekermann adapted the faces and expanded the family with the addition of a regular weight.
Subtle deviations and inconsistencies between the characters in the different weights are intentional. The large x-height, idiosyncratic shapes and wobbly edges make it particularly eye-catching and unique. More…
