As Memphis followed the fashion set by the sanserif Futura, Herb Lubalin, Antonio DiSpigna and Joe Sundwall developed Lubalin Graph in 1974 from Lubalin and Carnase’s 1970 sanserif, Avant Garde Gothic. It supplies the customary close-fitted large x-height, ITC version of the form.
