About this font family

The pattern for this typeface was suggested by a poster for beer, designed by German artist Ludwig Hohlwein around 1920.

The plump curvy serifs suggested a great complement to beer, hot dogs, and thus the name translates roughly to “weiner wagon.” Prosit!

Both versions of this font include the complete Latin 1252 and CE 1250 character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.
