Amador is a condensed blackletter. A new design in the spirit of the Arts and Crafts movement.

The works of Frederic Goudy and Rudolf Koch are reflected in a design that tends away from traditional English blackletters, moving both backwards in time to the earliest blackletter types, and forward to reflect the more modern forms of the mid-20th century.
