Azuza is a Latin serif typeface. It incorporates features of the Linotype Legibility Series of newspaper typefaces, such as a high lower-case x-height and short ascenders and descenders, in a clean, modern design. Designed as a display face, Azuza also works well at small sizes. Some italic characters were inspired by Electra Italic by W.A. Dwiggins, one of my favorite type designers.
