The compact proportions closely follow Alternate Gothic*, one of the 20th century’s most ubiquitous and versatile types. In style Primex is patterned after countless squared grotesks and linears; industrial in essence with contemporary twists, a robust work-a-day typeface totally subservient to the message. Primex is suitable for anything from text to sub-headings, incidental text, main headings, logos, display, signage and poster work, and extends this range with high readability on-screen thanks to its simple right-angled construction.
