The alternate styles Copy Cut and Copy SemiGrotesk use the basic design as a starting point for experimentation. With angular cuts, Copy Cut is breaking the plain shapes of the basic design and adds some significance to the alphabet. Much more complex is Copy SemiGrotesk. Versions with added serifs, as well as single types with monotype characteristics have been mixed and fused with the plain groteque shapes of Copy.
For marking text, all three styles have been designed in the additional weights bold and italic. The Copy font family - especially in editorial design - is also very functional in combination of its grotesque and semi grotesque members.
