Applied Symbols offers Computer Modern (the typeface family by Donald Knuth well-known throughout scientific academia) in OpenType format, making them fully usable beyond their traditional home in TeX: now you can use Adobe InDesign, or other OpenType-savvy software, to set texts in Computer Modern.
