As this is the first time I have tried my hand at font creation, there isn't much to say about my experience in this area. Looking back though, I think I have had a secret desire to do this for quite some time. Actually I am more into digital art than fonts and have used PhotoShop for many years to create symbolic paintings. I suppose it was my love of symbols that eventually lead me to design Nefertiti. I am not sure yet if I will create any others. It really depends on the response I get to this one.

Although I have successfully completed several graphic design courses over the years, I am basically a self-taught artist. Apart from PhotoShop, I also use Corel Print House. It was with the latter program that I designed the Hieroglyphs for Nefertiti. And now I have had some experience with Font Creator 5, which is a really great program, especially for beginners because it’s so easy to use.
