Texas-born, internationally renowned calligrapher living in Bruges, Belgium. He worked as assistant to Donald Jackson. He has written on lettering and calligraphy, authoring the book Letterwork (1993). He has worked on the films of Peter Greenaway, “Prospero’s Books” (1991) and “The Pillow Book” (1996), as calligrapher, in the latter having the pleasure of painting onto the naked bodies of Vivian Wu and Ewan McGregor.
