Damien Gautier studied typography in the Atelier de création typographique in École Estienne, Paris.

He is a graphic designer and co-founder of the Trafik team. He works in cultural, institutional and industrial areas for identity, editing and multimedia projects. He often goes in several schools and professional organizations to teach typography.

He is the author of Typographie, guide pratique (2nd edition, Pyramyd), a book which shows and demonstrates how to use typography with computer tools (in French). A second book Mise en page(s), etc., manuel, will be soon available (Niggli).
