David Earls is a graphic designer, typographer and writer based in the United Kingdom. In 1999, he founded the typography news and resource site, Typographer.org (formerly Typographer.com), in the hope of providing a fiercely independent voice on the web, with honesty, impartiality and independence of funding at its core.

David’s first book, Designing Typefaces, was published in hardback by Rotovision in 2002, and released in paperback in 2006.
