I like this because it speaks to the gradual disappearance of print. It might be a little trendy, but it's a beautiful font, unlike most of the grunge families.

This is a more deco font. I like the W and V especially. This gives a more techno feel, which might echo the move to electronic media.

This is one of my favorites. Bold but elegant, and the one-sided serif on the A is a sly reference to the UofA logo, but significantly altered. I'm playing with this one now. There are also some beautiful ligatures (links between adjoining letters) that we might be able to use well.

For me, this deconstruction of a classic engraving font is a nice twist. It has a lightness with its classicism that is very appealing to me.
